SHOT Show 2026: The Biggest Reveals, Hottest New Guns, and Everything You Missed

SHOT Show 2026 took over the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 20–23, 2026, and this year was one for the record books. Over 55,000 attendees from the firearms, hunting, outdoor, and law enforcement industries packed 816,000 square feet of exhibit space across 2,500+ exhibitor booths.

We were on the ground in Vegas to see it all firsthand, and one thing is clear: 2026 is the Year of the Suppressor, Glock has finally answered years of demands with the Gen6, and the industry is innovating at a pace we haven't seen in years.

Here's our complete recap of everything that matters.

Quick Navigation

1. The Suppressor Explosion

With the $200 NFA tax stamp reduced to $0 as of January 1, 2026 (thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act signed July 4, 2025), suppressors absolutely dominated the show floor. Over 130,000 new Form 4 applications have been filed since the $0 tax went into effect.

Nearly every major manufacturer launched their first silencer lines, while established suppressor companies went all-in on innovation. Budget suppressors dropped to the $199–$439 range, and suppressor-ready gas systems became standard across rifle manufacturers. NSSF is calling it the "Year of the Suppressor" and they're not wrong.

2. Computational Optics Go Mainstream

Scopes that calculate firing solutions in real time using environmental sensors and display them in the field of view moved from exotic novelty to real, buyable products. Maztech X4-FCS, Revic, and Burris Eliminator 6 led the charge. The future of long-range shooting has arrived.

3. Thermal Resolution Quadruples

Thermal imaging jumped from 640x512 to 1280x1024 resolution, with InfiRay/Nocpix and Pulsar pushing the boundaries of what hunters and shooters can see in the dark.

4. Modular Firearm Ecosystems

Palmetto State Armory's AXR Series stole the show with a radical concept: one serialized fire control that transfers between handguns, PDWs, rifles, and shotguns — all on a single 4473. Taurus TX9's chassis system and Seekins Precision's interchangeable-caliber rifle added to the modular movement.

5. Beretta Celebrates 500 Years

Beretta kicked off a yearlong celebration of 500 years of continuous operation and the 50th anniversary of the 92 Series with limited-edition products including the 92SB Repro — only 1,526 units worldwide.
