Spyderco Kapara CPM REX 121 Sprint Run

A faithful rendition of Australian custom knifemaker Alistair Phillips popular Redback design, the Spyderco Kapara offers an exceptional blend of style, function, and craftsmanship. Now it also boasts the extreme edge retention of CPM REX 121 blade steel. Pioneered by Crucible Industries, this high-vanadium, cobalt-bearing tool steel bridges the gap between high-alloy tool steels and carbide materials in the most demanding industrial applications. Its advanced alloy composition, achievable only through powder metallurgy technology, offers the greatest attainable hardness and wear resistance possible in a high-speed steel. The full-flat-ground, satin-finished blade of this limited-edition Kapara takes full advantage of these properties to deliver unparalleled sharpness and edge retention. The blade is supported by a sleek, ergonomic handle featuring full, skeletonized stainless steel liners, a high-strength Compression Lock mechanism, and contoured G-10 scales in the distinctive burnt-orange color reserved for Spydercos most elite tool-steel-bladed knives. To keep this remarkable knife discreetly poised for immediate access, it includes a deep-pocket wire clip that is reversible for left- or right-side tip-up carry.
