Founded in 1991 by George Smith, Evolution Gun Works began as a small custom gunsmithing shop with just four manual machines in a 1,600-square-foot space in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Over the years, EGW built an outstanding reputation by performing custom work for elite competition shooters. This success fueled their transition from a custom shop into a major manufacturer of high-quality parts and accessories, eventually leading them to relocate to a massive 23,000-square-foot facility in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, where they continue to manufacture their products today.
