One of the primary benefits of these bullets is the boat tail design that offers a flatter trajectory as well as better long-range performance because the ballistic coefficient is raised.
These full metal jacket pullets are fully encased in a hard metal excluding the base. As a result the bullets expand upon impact but without damaging pelts. For this reason these bullets are often used for smaller game.
