Aegis Handbag - Athena (Pewter)

Athena is named after the goddess of War and Wisdom. Plato believed her name meant “Mind of God” whilst others believe it comes from the ancient word meaning “sharp”. Both words point to Athena's great intellectual ability to see the true nature of a situation and develop successful strategies. You too will look sharp and successful when you carry Athena. 

Athena's interior is two large compartments that is separated by the carry compartment that is closed with a magnetic button at the top. The lining is 100% cotton Estrella de los Muertos from the California designer Alexander Henry. All hardware is a nickel-plated brass or gold brass that will last a lifetime. There are 3 interior pouches that are perfectly sized for mace extra magazines cell phones flashlights lipsticks etc. There is one large sized interior zippered compartment and one large exterior zippered compartment. 

Athena has no “true front” so it can be worn on either shoulder for right or left handed draw. This bag comes with one medium sized holster. 

Every Aegis bag has a 1/16" vinyl coated stainless steel cable embedded in it's handle/s to prevent slash and grab's. 

Pewter: Made from the finest buffed grain cowhide with a pearl finish. This Nevada leather has a broken-in softness that you'll love having at your side. The hardware is a nickel-plated brass that blends perfectly with the pewter.
