EP7 Sonic Defenders Ultra earplugs safeguard your hearing from Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) without hindering your ability to hear normal sounds or conversations. Their foam-tipped stem design, featuring soft memory-foam Comply Canal Tips, fits most users and offers a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 28 dB. Safe-level sounds can pass into the ear canal, while louder noises (above 85 dB) are diminished through a proprietary design with a special noise-reducing filter. EP7s come with attached filter caps, which can be added for extra protection and to block out lower-level noise in situations where hearing ambient sounds or conversations isn't necessary. They also function as earpieces for compatible radio communication systems.
