As Top Brass cleans sizes trims & reams every once-fired .308 WIN cartridge we receive there are occasionally those that although they meet our high standards for dimensional accuracy and structural integrity just can't be polished clean enough to meet the demanding visual standard we require to earn the "Premium Respec Brass" label and be displayed on retail shelves.
So rather than sending these otherwise perfectly functional but slightly tarnished/discolored cartridges to be melted down at the recycling plant Top Brass packs them up in bulk packs of 500 and sells them at significant savings.
