These molded seating dies feature a separate bottom punch for seating the case body to the shoulder. This is the preferred method for seating military and target bullets for long-term accuracy. When a crimp is necessary the expander ball is moved to the rear and the bullet is backed out the rest of the case. Because there is less wear on the case neck these dies are often used in sets with other dies. The benefit of the rear punch is that it allows a number of calibers to be used. Because both the pilot and seating stem are on the same side of the case neck the seating die is able to cycle smoothly and concentrically. Because there is less friction the case can be seated to the limit of the case neck rather than through the whole length of the case.

What is MAP Pricing?
MAP stands for Minimum Advertised Price. It's a policy set by manufacturers that limits how low retailers can advertise their prices.
The good news? We can often sell below MAP - we just can't show that price publicly. When you request a price by email or add to cart, you'll see our actual (often lower) price.
This isn't a trick - it's how we stay compliant while still offering you the best deals possible.
