This basic red dot model has all the features of the tube style sights because the optics are basically the same. However this shorter option of a sight adds a slight improvement with field of view because from the front to the back lens is short with the full body of the sight keeping this one piece unit solid as a rock for a wide variation of uses for rifles shot guns pistols and often a favorite for paintball.
