Using the Browning patent the 1885 Single Shot was produced from September 1885 through the end of 1920 a period when target shooting was extremely popular. The Single Shot was beautiful strong and well-made in every detail. About 65 types of cartridges can be used in this firearm; that's more than any other. Features a case-hardened frame and blue barrel finish. Optional U870063A Longer Tang Screw for sight placement sold separately. Model features a checkered pistol-grip stock and single trigger.
