The 444 Marlin lever-action rifle shoots a lighter, faster bullet with a flatter trajectory and more energy (inside 200 yards) with less recoil than a 45-70 Govt. Features a 22 barrel with Ballard rifling and a 1:20 twist. Equipped with a tubular magazine with 4+1 capacity and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight and hooded front ramp brass bead front sight. The pistol grip stock is made of American black walnut with a durable Mar-Shield finish and has a rubber butt pad along with a fluted comb and swivel studs. The receiver is drilled and tapped for mounting optics. Weighs approximately 7.5 lbs. and has an overall length of 40.5.
