Shop Hornady ProductsThe Hornady Custom Grade Die Zip Spindle Kit Straight Wall is the ideal kit for spare parts or for updating an older Hornady Sizing die to utilize the new zip spindle design. The Zip Spindle has a series of light threads cut on the spindle and spindle lock. This eliminates slippage and makes tightening the spindle lock a breeze when adjusting. This kit includes 3 decap pins a zip spindle a spindle lock and a decap pin retainer. Fits: Any pistol caliber (straight wall cartridges) Hornady Custom Grade Sizing Dies.
Kit consists of 3 headed decap pins (#390222) a zip spindle (#398567) a spindle lock (#398731) and a decap pin retainer (#396303). To install remove the spindle assembly from the existing die. Remove and replace the headed decap pin and/or decap pin retainer if necessary and re-attach to the new spindle. Re-install the zip spindle assembly into the sizing die. All die sets shipped in 2006 and later have the threaded style zip spindle. For rifle calibers (bottleneck) use Zip Spindle kit #43400.
