New for 2022, the M40-ish Rifle is latest addition to Bergara’s Small Batch Series, and offers the accuracy and reliability of one of the USMC’s most iconic rifles. With only 200 produced, the M40-ish Rifle is a true collector’s item, and offer’s a wide array of upgrades and military-grade quality that Bergara is known for. The barrel is composed of a 24-inch, straight, heavy taper made from premium stainless steel, and utilizes the renowned Bergara Premier Action with AICS-style 5-round magazines. The barrel is topped with 5/8-24 threads for use with a suppressor, muzzle brake, or other muzzle device, and includes a flush-fitting thread protector. Other features of the M40-ish rifle includes a 20 MOA picatinny rail that sits atop the action, allowing the user to select virtually any type of optic, and a TriggerTech Primary 1.5 – 4 lb adjustable trigger promotes superior accuracy.

One of the more notable features of the M40-ish rifle is the McMillian Fiberglass A4 Stock. Originally designed for the USMC, the McMillian A4 stock offers a wide range of adjustability with a saddle-type cheekpiece that can be adjusted for height, and a set of spacers that can be used to fine-tune the rifle’s length of pull. The stock also features a vertical pistol grip for excellent ergonomics, as well as strategically placed texturing in the grip and for-end areas for greater control over the rifle. In addition, the stock features a butt hook for better control of the butt with the non-trigger hand, and 5 integrated flush cups accommodate the use of a sling.
